Qualification
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Sport (Sport, Exercise and Fitness), Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Learning in PE, School Sport and Physical Activity & Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership
Study overview
This course is comprised of the following qualifications:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Sport (Sport, Exercise and Fitness)
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Learning in Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity
- Award in Community Sports Leadership
These qualifications will cover topics such as:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Fitness, Coaching
- Health & Safety
- Psychology and much more
There is also a wide range of enrichment activities linked to the course in and around the local community. These provide you with further experience and opportunities to develop your sports leadership and employability skills.
Eligibility
4 GCSEs grades 9-3, including English Language and Maths at grades 9-2
Assessment
Learners are assessed throughout the course employing a variety of activities; this includes internally marked timed-assessments, assignment work, presentations and observation of practical activities.

Non – Football Academy Sports Uniform – Approx. £71.00
Includes: 1x training jersey, 1x 1¼ zip top & 1x shorts.
Football Academy Uniform - £118.00
Includes: 2x training jerseys, 1x ¼ zip top, 1x training pants & 1x shorts.
